For more than 20 years, Ken Paves has remained one of the most sought-after and arguably the most recognizable hairstylist in the world. Oprah Winfrey has called him “The Big Kahuna of Hollywood hair.”

Ken says he is most proud of the opportunities to give back that his career has given him, including raising 2.2 million dollars in 10 days, which he gave away on The Oprah Winfrey Show toward finding a cure for a children’s disease, Epidermolysis Bullosa.

Ken’s hairstyling appears in the pages of Vogue, W, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, Allure, Marie Claire, Glamour, Vanity Fair, GQ, In Style, O Magazine and many other publications internationally.

In fashion and entertainment, Ken has been recognized for his work styling David and Victoria Beckham, Eva Longoria, Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, Jessica and Ashlee Simpson, Celine Dion, Nicole Richie, Fergie, Taylor Swift, Eve, Megan Fox, and Marc Anthony to name a few.

Dubbed by the media as the “hottest hairdresser in Hollywood,” Ken is also known for his ability to help people reignite their inner confidence with his unique approach to honoring self. He appeared more than 40 times as a regular guest performing makeovers on The Oprah Winfrey Show, as well as a contributing columnist for Oprah.com.

Ken hairstyling work, as well as his Philanthropy, have become synonymous. Ken sits on the board of Bright Faces, a global medical organization helping children with major facial deformities, for 12 years Ken gave a free wig to any woman in the world in medical need with his award-winning hair extension and wig line, he is an advocate to many communities including people with ALS, the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Community. Ken has lobbied before Congress to help put bills in place to protect and give back to those in need, as well as regularly calling on his clients and friends to support his causes. Diana Ross, Tom Brady, David and Victoria Beckham, Will Smith, and many others supported his most recent philanthropic efforts to aid underprivileged children in the Philippines where his mother’s family is from.

Ken’s work has also led him to perform makeovers for America’s Next Top Model, The Doctor’s, The Biggest Loser, Oprah Winfrey’s new network OWN and, Style Network’s Fashion Mob, a special Ken created, produced and starred in. He additionally starred in the reality series The Price of Beauty, where he and Jessica Simpson traveled around the world to discover true beauty. As a Beauty Expert with the goal of helping people realize true inner beauty, Ken has appeared on E!, Fox, NBC, CNN, ABC, and many other affiliates around the world. Ken also has an impressive presence online on every beauty site and is widely viewed in many “how-to” videos.

Ken has become an industry favorite for his selfless talent, vision and, unparalleled passion and dedication to his clients. Ken released his book, “You are Beautiful,” published by Sterling Publications as a beautiful harmony of self-help amplified by the voices of his female role models that taught what true beauty meant. Ken’s goal was to encourage all women and girls to be their own unique definition of beauty.

Ken has expanded his focus to using his platform toward Global and Climate Initiatives, most recently becoming an active Ambassador to No More Plastics (NoMorePlastics.co).
