Biography:

Native to Los Angeles, Amaran Asylum knew from an early age that hairdressing was simply something he was born to do. Amaran began his career training under the prestigious Sassoon Academy which led him to follow his passion for color and ultimately, the world of men’s grooming. At 27 years of age, Amaran has assisted leading and innovative professionals within his industry which has ultimately given him the knowledge and tools to refine and customize his own craft.

He has had the chance to work with some amazing people such as Eva Longoria, Retta, Ashlee Simpson, Victoria Beckham, Evan Ross, Georgia May Jagger, Erika Tham and Shenae Grimes-Beech. With his unique approach to hairdressing, Amaran has joined the family at il-lume & Ken Paves Salon where he continues to grow and excel as a colorist, stylist, and men’s groomer.
